Thanks SO MUCH ED!!
Thats the best vid of me from outside my car... Great! LOL, next time remind me to take my trailer hitch out!! that 5lbs right there ;) Since you've started the thread, here is my one and only vid from the day. I was chasing an older bmw with 6 cylinder swap. We were dead even! |

Here it is! We all talked about it, Laughed about it, but most of all we are all glad that no one/thing was hurt/bent!
As the front row center viewer of this it was extremely exciting to say the least! If we caught this from Victor's (the passenger who was in the Yellow mini with me) Cam, I'll edit the Vid and add the footage. Victor said he thinks he missed it as he was concentrating on bracing himself . Many thanks to Luis and Lenny for getting me this video from Luis' car so quickly! Mitch,
You were awsome "smooth" and consistant lap after lap, always on your mark, never out of control. That is very impressive driving, its no wonder your'e a great Instructor. I can't beleive how fast that Bimmer is in the straights. What RPM is your shift light set at? I noticed you stayed in 4th? gear down the front straight, and the light was on for a while. I'm curious what MPH you are at as you seem to carry a lot speed through turn one. Brad |
