Porsche Club of America. I found out the president, Mike, lives a mere 4 blocks from me! He said he sees my car all the time and keeps saying, "that should be on the track!" How funny is that?

Questions about convertibles, etc were answered here on trackweekend. I could not find them so fast in the rule book so that was great.

Online Registration process is an intelligence contest. Fail it and you are ineligible to drive! Apparently, LOL. It was convoluted but worked fairly well in the end. There was a minor glitch that was cleared up with a phone call from someone named Josh who proved to be a very nice representative of PCA. The registration is actually done by an outside web firm.

Having access to vinyl or magnetic car NUMBERS was great. Having them delivered in about 2 or 3 DAYS was even better! I was stunned and very pleased.

Track day registration was particularly painless and FAST! Very well organized and minimal confusion when we last minute added a second driver to my car. Kudos for that!

The usual verbal orientation. Graciously NOT over done. Concise and to the point. Perfect IMO.

Tech was pretty interesting. I know what to expect from here on out. Show up with valve caps removed!

My instructor happened to be most likely my best to date. He had me more relaxed than most and that brings out my best driving to date. Funny how that works! Seriously, this is the BEST approach for all students IMO.

Overall, a club that was not so "full of them selves" like the last club i drove with. PCA is tops in my book and I am going to join for the very fact that they dont MAKE you join like other clubs. That reason and I really liked the club very much overall, and would love to drive with them in the future.

Good old Trackweekend.com had a VERY nice showing of members due to Carlos and crew's promotion and getting the word out. I cant see how anyone would have possibly been disappointed. A good time was had by all except for a poor yellow Porsche.

Final note: I wish ALL events started at Noon instead of much earlier. I was 100% BETTER RESTED AND MORE RELAXED. I love the noon gate opening.

Good times were had by all smile
PCA ran a top-notch event. Dave was a huge track buddy and loaned me his supercharged M3 to take around the track. Awesome friend smile
