We expect nothing else from you Dave, welcome back from your shopping spree smile Let us know how that HPF turbo works on the track. I think the hans device will go well with that turbo, especially until you get the roll bar sorted. Plus it practically for free compared to what you spent on the rest..

happy with the APR stuff? I'm looking at that splitter/wing myself..

Car is supposed to be ready the first week in Oct. unfortunately i have abdominal surgery looming and a long recovery time. I am very very uspset I wont be able to track my car until next year some time.
The APR stuff is not installed yet. I have never seen such nice fit and finish before on carbon fiber.
APR is pretty much cant loose stuff. Everything should balance out nicely. I did get a corner balance on the car BTW.
Now I need to adjust the 67 inch GTC wing and the splitter to get equal downforce front and rea. I have a friend, the owner of Redline BMW who hopefully can help me with this. I am learning and feeling my way along too. So much is "feel". Tuning downforce will be a whole new experience for me.

I have since added my APR GTC 300 wing, splitter and canards. Tuning and angles mostly by trial and terror, especially the canards that are quite aggressively angled. I am looking to get back to Sebring so I can compare top speed, cornering speeds and g-forces from my data logger. The car feels very grippy now.

One thing to consider: the wing is generating enough downforce to actually slightly deform the trunk lid metal. I am considering fabricating some sort of braces in the trunk to support the trunklid and get the downforce connected to the chassis.

Here are some pics:

An article in Grassroots on aero said that if you do anything to the back you MUST do an equal thing to the front. I dont think canards are enough. I will be runninmg an APR carbon SPLITTER in addition to dive planes by Brooks Racing. I have the same wing. Looks awesome on your car!
