X2 on Harry's Lap Timer.
Just buy the whole app. with all the ad ons. I've got it too, and it works perfectly. you do NOT have to add any POI's or gps points. Its done already. Heck, you dont even need to hit any buttons. Just open the app. and go drive. It knows you are on the track. Michael, do you use the Iphone to do the actual video recording? or an external camera? |

I use the iPhone camera with an emprum ultimate gps add on for faster signal relay and the kiwi wifi for data from the OBD port. Camera video quality is ok. I need to figure out how to record in higher video resolution. It would be even better to overlay the data on a hero2 device... We'll see. What's your setup?

I actually use aLapRecorderHD on my Android phone. The app is like $5.00 and uses GPS tracking for speed, lap times, etc. Ramon, what mount do you use in your car for the Android device? |

I use the iGrip 1223 Rok Kit Universal Windshield mount. I tried a few but this one has the strongest base and doesn't rattle apart at Sebring. $17.95 at Amazon. Can't beat the value.
