Sean,
Yes, I still have the open aluminum trailer. I’ve
been busy and have not advertised the trailer. I would very much like to
sell it, though, because I am afraid that it might get stolen.
I have a Lincoln truck to tow the race car in the 24’
closed trailer. I would like to buy my wife an used X5 with a 3.0 L
We would tow our 21’ offshore boat, about 5,500# with the BMW. How
do you think the X5 would handle this large, wide and tall load?
What has been your experience with the 4.4 L V8? There
were some concerns in ’02 about the engines and the sulfur in our fuels
here in the USA.
Thanks,
Sam

Sam
Do you still have the flat bed trailer
I have slicks now and have been taking a uhaul but its not
meant for lowered cars and I now own enough home made ramps to fill
a garage
I also own a 2003 x 5 4.4

Hi
Dave! Looks
like I'll finally get to meet you next weekend! I'll be at HMS on
Saturday (participating with ERME) and on Sunday for the FARA race. David
Tuaty and his team are inviting all of the BMW owners of our group to join
them as their guests. If you're planning on being there on Sat, we'll
also be there, and David's team agreed to rope-off a section for us.
Come join us, RSVP for the event here: http://www.trackweekend.com/calendar/10463369/
and I'll make sure he ropes off a spot for you. This
way, you will get to meet some of our very active members, some of the pro
racers and maybe pick up a tip or two (I know that's my plan!) Looking
forward to meeting you! Carlos [masked]
