Last week I promised you another surprise for this week. Here it is…
Our friends at ERME have offered us a 2-for-1 special for TrackWeekend.com members only. The idea is simple: register for the ERME August 28th event at Homestead Speedway and your friend’s registration is completely FREE! People have asked me if you have to share a car or track time with the friend registering with you. No – these are two completely independent registrations, and your friend will have as much track time as you, driving his own car!

The cost will be $249 for Intermediate and advanced drivers, and $299 for novice drivers (includes instructor). So, you can either treat your friend to a day at the track or simply split the 1st registration fee amongst you. Additionally, ERME is agreeing to wave the $50 membership fee for both drivers!

But wait, there’s more!
We will be raffling off 2 FREE ERME events (for September) during this event at lunch. All you have to do is show up to Homestead on August 28th, tap me or Juan on the shoulder, let me know who you are, and tell us you’d like to be included in the drawing for the free events. That’s it! It would also help if you RSVP “yes” on TW so that we know you’re coming.

Never been to one of these events? Curious as to what it’s all about? Come join us! Most of the TW organizers will be on hand to answer any questions, AND… give people rides on the track at full speed. If you’d like to ride as a passenger, please let us know in advance. You must wear closed-toe shoes, long pants, and a sleeved shirt (no tank tops) to ride or drive on the track. We’ll have a few spare helmets to lend out. Cost to get into the speedway = $0

ERME 2-For-1 Offer - Terms & Conditions

1. You must be a TrackWeekend.com member. Your friend must also be a TrackWeekend.com member

2. Both drivers must register for the event through ERME’s website. This is important so that ERME have complete driver information on both drivers.
3. First driver registering will be charged the full amount ($249, or $299 for novice). Second driver may enter a dummy credit card number when registering (CC# 000000000000000).
4. If an intermediate or advanced solo driver registers with a novice driver, then the 2-for-1 price will be the novice's price of $299.
5. BOTH drivers must note upon registering that they are participating in the TW 2-for-1 offer AND list the name of their friend registering with them.
6. Be sure that both drivers RSVP “yes” on the event page on TrackWeekend.com, and note who their 2-for-1 buddy is: http://www.trackweekend.com/calendar/12100297/

ERME will verify that those registering for the 2-for-1 are TrackWeekend.com members and that both people are fully registered for the event.

What if you don’t have a friend you can con talk into registering with you?
No problem! Simply RSVP for the event here (http://www.trackweekend.com/calendar/12100297/) and use the message board on that page to tell people you’re looking for a 2-for-1 buddy! That’s right – let TW work for you!
