I've evolved... and I cant get enough of this good stuff! Im looking forward to attending many more events in 2011 and hanging with the Track Weeknd Crew.

Yes, 15+ during 2009, none prior so Im new-ish. New car is intoxicating so many more planned for 2011 and beyond

What Robert is saying about this Meetup Group

Im not a race fanatic myself but I have a new car that goes very fast and I'd at least like to see what I can do with it. Some people like me were there, some others were obviously a bit more serious than I'll ever be but everyone was very cool and there were no attidiues. The couple of experienced drivers I met were very welcoming and it was relieving to see another new guy from the TrackWeekend group having a blast with it. The guys from Flat6 (VERY informative) travel to most events and provide trackside support and handle tire pressure, fluids, etc.. The time it took to go and watch was very worth it and Im looking forward to communicating and driving with some other newbies to drive at the next available Sebring event. The only hard part is getting to your first event to check it out and see how easy it is so do this soon or email Carlos for any details- he's awesome and really into this!

Hi Robert, come and join us this Saturday (May 9) for a Hooked on Driving night track event at Palm Beach International Raceway. There are still spots available, but you can always come out and hang out with us and other car enthusiast there.

Robert, welcome to our high-performance driving group! That 911 C2 is an awesome machine, and I always see plenty of them on the track. You will no doubt have a blast with it, especially on the race track. Let me know if you'd like some advice on which motorsports club/event you may want to start with.
