yeah I was really looking forward to going to the trackguys event. But unfortunately something came up and I cant go that weekend :(

Nice cobra you have there. What do you have done to it? Are there alot of other mustang guys in south florida that are into road coursing and autoX? I'd really like to meet you guys and get involved.

Dang that's a good eight hours away. I was talking to my dad (him and I are thinking about building a simple track car), and we were wondering...Is there anything closer at all? I honestly don't know how to look for this kinda stuff so I apologize for being so newbie.

Wow, thanks a ton. To my knowledge my car is in good working order. It only has 53k miles on it and we've had it inspected. Anyway, I should get my license in late January. I'm in the Pensacola area, where could I find a track day that would be able to suit my 100hp four cylinder sloth? haha

Hey thanks for the greeting. I'm really hoping to get involved with the racing community. But I'm not sure if I can participate...See, I've got a stock 96 Escort which isn't exactly a 997! haha. So I'm not really sure. Any and all advice is appreciated though.

I was doing even better Sunday after the rain. Then my car decided to puke antifreeze. Boiled over. So far I found a slight leak around a water hose (that didn't do it) and the water pump is still looking good. Will flush the radiator and check the thermostat tomorrow. ALso broke the alternator tensioning bracket. I'm still working out the kinks in my twenty-seven year old red-head!

Carmine, My s2000 dyno'd at 203 at real steet prefromance. Gotta find another 17 hp. I think i am limited to 220hp

Hey Carmine, yes lucky to find this i stumbled on it saw you name and joined up.

It does OK, traction is a issue sometimes, I have the driver mod. Hopefully I can make it a race car in the near future.
