Guys, this is always a great event. It is the annual combined Goldcoast and Suncoast Regions DE. Both sides of the world converge on Sebring and drive fast, then drink fast!
Everybody meets up at the Chateau Friday night to talk trash, then Saturday comes and tells the truth.
Then Saturday night there is another chance to tell all how you "Drive Flat Out". It usually starts in the paddock staring at tires, then spills back to the Chateau for last man standing.
Then yet another day!!

Yes Saturday was very crowded. In my run group(solo-yellow) I got tied up behind several slower cars that took a long time to get by. This happened two or three times each session on Saturday. Sunday was not as bad. Another thing I think would be better to do is run both novice groups (green and blue) together. This would give all groups more track time. All in all, the event went pretty good, a nice weekend,a little hot and humid, but no rain outs!
There were way too many cars on the track Saturday. I counted over 30 at grid in solo and I'm sure more followed afterwards. I heard the instructor group was packed as well. Drivers passing inches off of my mirrors only compounded my frustration. Dude, you have 50' of track, there's no call for that kind of barnstorming. Sunday was much better thankfully.
I generally enjoy the PCA events at Sebring. They are well run, you get the time you pay for, and everyone is friendly. This even was no different, only my track experience was poor.
I PARTICIPATED ON BOTH DAYS 18TH & 19TH. EVERYTHING WENT THE WAY IT SHOULD HAVE. WELL ORGANIZED, WELL DEFINED AND STRIGHT TO THE POINT. NO MAJOR INCIDENTS, EXCEPR ONE NISSAN 350 Z THAT BLEW A TIRE ON TURN ONE. JUST SOME MINOR BODY DAMAGE. MY INSTRUCTOR WAS AGAIN SUPER. I EVEN RECEIVED A PROMOTION TO BLUE. AGAIN PCA PROVIDES GREAT EVENTS, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK. ALSO, A BIG THANK YOU FOR ALL THE SUPPORT STAFF THAT DID A FANTASTIC JOB, AND MADE THIS EVENT A SAFE ONE.
